The ERP Unit is a radar processing unit based on multi high-speed processors. It receives Five RF channels from the RFIF of AAAU of AESA Radar. These five channels of X-band frequencies are down converted for narrow band and wide band modes. The baseband data is processed by signal processor (Dual Xeon) to give detection reports which are further processed by radar data processor and perform tracking operations. Finally radar video is generated in ERP which is sent to display. The ERP control and command all it modules and various external interfaces with avionics buses for receiving INS/ GPS and OAC data using radar controller.
