Ansys Q3D Extractor is a powerful tool for understanding parasitic parameters such as frequency-dependent resistance, inductance, capacitance, and conductance. It is particularly useful for designing advanced electronics packages and connectors used in high-speed electronic equipment, as well as high-power bus bars and power converter components used in electrical power distribution, power electronics, and electric drive systems. The software efficiently performs 3D and 2D quasi-static electromagnetic field simulations to extract RLCG parameters from interconnect structures, automatically generating equivalent SPICE models. These models are highly accurate and can be used for signal integrity analysis to study electromagnetic phenomena and understand the performance of interconnects, IC packages, connectors, PCBs, bus bars, and cables.
